I’m just back from my first trip to a vineyard since pre-COVID and it was glorious to be back in the vines, asking questions, and learning more about geology, soil health, and how to farm grapes in an organic, zero-waste eco-system. I visited Rajat Parr at his new farm and vineyard, Phelan Farm, and overlapped with a dear friend and brilliant geologist, Brenna Quigley.
So many of you have asked us for more wine information - we listened! And we’ve just begun Q&A Tuesday. Check our Instagram feed every Tuesday at 5pm, and if you have a question about anything from how to navigate a wine list to why we don’t use Velcorin at Ramona to why soil health and biodiversity could materially pause global warming, I’ll do my best to answer it.
